forest school mud play at Dawn Until Dusk

Over the last few weeks small groups of children have been involved in Forest Schools activities at our Lakeview club. Tracy, one of the Directors of Dawn Until Dusk, is currently doing her training to become a level 3 Forest School leader. For this course she has been running a programme of 6 Forest School activities over 6 weeks.

Week 1 was Mud pies and carrots for snacks. The children had fun with the mud kitchens experimenting with the different tools we had and creating meals from mud! The children were supervised in preparing their own snacks. They each used a peeler to prepare their carrot for snack time.

Week 2 was Meadow Crowns. The children had fun collecting lots of flowers, leaves and grass to create their lovely crowns.

Please have a look through some of our photographs below. We will continue to keep you up to date with the Forest School activities at Lakeview!
