The children at Thomas Johnson have been having lots of fun over the last week. They have enjoyed some cookery sessions and have been busy creating lots of beautiful things in our creation station.
The children had great fun at their cookery theme night last Wednesday. They made some rather yummy looking Cheese Straws! Each child rolled out their pastry and then took great care adding the cheese filling. They then rolled the pastry up and brushed each over each straw with egg white to make them golden when they were baked in the oven.
The children at Thomas Johnson have also been spending time at the Creation Station. They enjoyed using tissue paper to create some beautiful flowers. The head teacher, Mrs Haimes, popped in to say Hello and said how lovely the children’s creations were. A couple of our children then decided they would like to make some flowers for Mrs Haimes’ office, they decorated a vase to put them in and then took them down to her. What a lovely idea!
