You will have seen over the last few weeks of term that Tracy was doing a Forest School 6 week programme at our Lakeview club. The children took part in a range of different Forest School activities. Starting with Mud kitchens and Meadow Crowns to creating Bug Houses and Muddy Faces.
To finish the Forest School programme the children were able to make their own Medallions. The children used a bow saw, with a little help from Tracy and Alison, to cut up the wood they wanted for their medallion. Then the children used the drill to create a hole in the wood for the string. This activity kept the children very busy and they all loved using the drills and saws, making use of their hand eye co-ordination and concentration skills.
