How Do I Book?
You simply need to complete our registration form which is available online or from any of our clubs. For new registrations, we reserve the right to request a deposit before confirming any booking requests.
How will I know if my child has a place?
As soon as we receive your completed registration form, the club manager will contact you.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made via tax credits, childcare vouchers, cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Tax Credits or Universal Credit can assist families that qualify to pay for our fees. You will need to use the unique Ofsted reference number for the club that you use. Please ask the club manager for the information you need.
Cheques will incur a £1 admin fee.
Can I visit the club with my child?
You and your child are welcome to visit us at any time. Simply contact the club to arrange a time.
What happens if my child is ill?
We will contact parents/carers immediately and use our knowledge of first aid until medical help arrives (if required).
What happens if I am late to collect my child?
We will keep your child safe, however, we ask that you telephone your emergency contact list to arrange alternative collection. After 6pm, further charges will occur due to the knock on effect on a site manager and staff fees.
How do I cancel a session?
If you wish to cancel a session, you will need to inform us in writing, at least four weeks in advance, otherwise all sessions are payable as normal. Sessions that are booked on an ad-hoc basis require 48hours notice.
Please be advised that once booked all Holiday Club sessions are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Can I see your policies?
Yes of course. All our policies are kept at the club for parents/carers to view at any time.
What should I do if I am not happy about something?
If you have any reason to be dissatisfied with our clubs, sessions or communications please tell us. Contact the club manager or area manager straight away so that we can help. We are always happy to talk about your concerns and make improvements where necessary.
Are Dawn Until Dusk clubs Ofsted registered?
Yes, all our clubs are Ofsted registered. Please ask for further details.
What hours do the clubs operate?
Our breakfast clubs operate from 7.30am-9.00am the children are taken from the Dawn Until Dusk club room to their individual classrooms.
Our after-school clubs operate from the end of the school day to 6.00pm. The children are collected from their classrooms and taken to the Dawn Until Dusk club room.
How much will my sessions cost?
We charge per session. Please refer to your club booking form which can be found on our ‘Forms’ page for detailed information.
How do I book my child a space?
Please complete the registration forms and for regular bookings you can complete the booking form for you site which can be downloaded on our ‘Forms’ page. For ad-hoc sessions please contact your club via phone or email and they will book these sessions in for you. For new registrations, we reserve the right to request a deposit before confirming any booking requests.
What is the child to staff ratio at Dawn Until Dusk?
For our Early Years children we have a ratio of 1 adult-8 children. From Reception year upwards our ratio is a maximum of 1 adult per 12 children.
What do you provide for my child to eat and drink?
For breakfast club the children can have cereals, toast, bagels and fruit. For after-school club the children are given a light children’s tea. Our Menu is available to view at any of the clubs or please email us and we will happily email you a copy of our menu. Water, milk and fruit squash is available at all times for the children to drink.
What is your policy on administering medicine?
We are happy to administer any medication. Please be sure to complete a Medication form which is available to download on our website. If you would like to discuss your childs medication please contact the club manager.
Do any other activities take place alongside the after-school clubs?
Yes, we run regular theme nights at our clubs. A list of these are always up at the clubs. We also run a holiday club throughout the school holidays. Details of this can be found on our ‘Holiday Club’ pages.
How do I amend a booking?
To amend an existing booking please contact your club manager. Cancellations to regular bookings require 4weeks notice and cancellations to ad-hoc sessions need 48hours notice.
Can I contact Ofsted?
Yes, if you have anything you would like to discuss with Ofsted regarding your children’s childcare you can call them on 0300 123 1231.
Can I use some of my 30 hours of free childcare entitlement with you?
We are hoping that we will be able to be able to register so that families can use some of their 30 hours entitlement with us, yes! We will be sending out a communication to parents with confirmation of this once everything has been sorted and set up.
Parents will need apply for it and will be given a reference number which confirms their eligibility. We need this number before we can do anything. Use the link below to apply online
